Many have asked us who will be the registered viewers and to whom we aim our material. Our programming is aimed at the Jewish world in general; many of my co-religionists have never had the opportunity to explore the Kosher World. Truth is, I wish we could invite you for my wife’s delicious Shabbos dinner and with God’s help many of you will get to enjoy such a meal sooner than later. The spice of Shabbos is as much a part of the meal as it is of the blessed and peaceful atmosphere and Torah dialogue. Sitting around the Shabbos table is a special time for exploring the questions that are so central to our very existence. Since this is not yet part of the WEB world, we are trying a modified approach through KosherTube.com. But the web has a major advantage over our small table: it reaches the four corners of our universe. Our Television programming for Crossroads Television System, a Christian Faith based service, has always been strictly of a traditional Jewish nature and over the past ten years the lesson learned is that hundreds of thousands of our Non-Jewish cousins are also fascinated by traditional Kosher Judaism. And so, although the programming is aimed at Jews seeking to learn more about their Kosher World, we enthusiastically welcome anyone who shares this interest. However, we do have one caveat, the Code of Jewish Law does not permit proselytizing. So, in welcoming Non-Jewish viewers, we are not encouraging conversion to Judaism in any way. Rather, a better understanding of Kosher Judaism may give the Non-Jewish viewer a better understanding of the roots and concepts of their own faith as well as answering some long-held questions about Judaism.
